It's one of our absolute favorite local pubs. The bar area, though compact, offers a really impressive selection of drinks, and the atmosphere consistently hits the mark. For an absolutely unforgettable time, I can't recommend visiting on St Patrick's Day enough – it's genuinely the best day you could ever experience.

My experience was solely with the Chinese restaurant located here, as I did not actually visit or utilize the hotel's other facilities.

After sampling Guinness in numerous countries worldwide, I'm genuinely impressed to declare that this establishment delivers the most superb pint I've ever had the pleasure of tasting; it's an utterly brilliant serving of the famous "black stuff.

I can't help but chuckle thinking back to my time living here, which honestly feels like countless ages ago! You might even encounter a truly lovely spectral resident during your stay. Just a crucial piece of advice: whatever you do, please don't close the window in the hallway. Also, for your own room, it's always best to verbally confirm out loud if you can close it. M oox.

I popped in for a swift pint of beer, just what I needed before heading off to Fretco.

I was really happy with the beer; it was served perfectly chilled, and I appreciated the excellent head on it.

I always find myself drawn back to this spot, particularly for those impromptu Friday lunches where their chilli chicken and rice hits the spot every time. It has that wonderful, classic pub atmosphere, and makes for an excellent place to meet up with friends. The service here is reliably both amiable and prompt.
